Harold Rainfroy

A seasoned international hotelier whose impressive career in service and hospitality management spans Europe, the Middle East and Asia for almost 30 years, Mr. Rainfroy has a wealth of experience in various hospitality disciplines.
His first foray in the hotel industry saw him in different executive roles and senior positions in Food and Beverage, tasked to forge revenue and operations of luxury and international brand hotels. Within that period, he was able to develop and open more than 15 dining and entertainment concepts, from fine dining to night club, for prestigious hotel brands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Seoul, Korea.
Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu is his first assignment in the Philippines. While his profession has taken him across continents, the Filipino culture is not new to him as he is married to a Filipina and has been visiting the country since 1983. Likewise, his experience in working with diverse backgrounds and cultures makes him a natural cross-cultural communicator and leader who can adapt to new environments and pull everyone together to achieve business results.

Together with the team, provided catering services to the flights of the Heads of State during the 12th Asean Summit of January 2007, and was awarded by Philippine Airlines as the Best Airline Caterer in the Asian region for the period of April 2005 to March 2006.
